1. Increasing Band-Width By 20%:

Microsoft reserves 20% of our available bandwidth for its own purposes like Windows Updates and interrogating your PC etc.,

We can get it back by using the following steps:

Click the Start Button —> Run and then type “gpedit.msc” without quotes.This opens
the group policy editor. Then go to:
Local Computer Policy —> Computer Configuration and then Administrative
Templates. Then Network then QOS Packet Scheduler and then to Limit Reservable Bandwidth.
Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth. It will say, “It is not configured”. But the truth is under the ‘Explain’ tab i.e.”By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default.”
So we have to ENABLE reservable bandwidth, then set it to ZERO. This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather than the default 20%.It works on Win 2000 as well.

There can be many definitions for Life. This depends upon an individual’s experiences. This is a short term between the birth and death. Within this time, we have to learn, love, achieve many things. Some times we don’t know the value of the god gifted life. Yesterday I came across an accident that happened in the outer skirts of my city. A guy who was riding his bike got attacked by a speedy car. His situation was really critical. I took him to the hospital and admitted him. Similarly there must be some meaning in living this life. A life without a meaning is just an existing one. We have to achieve something to prove our potential. This can be in any field.

The advancement in medical science has led to great methods of treatment. I came to know the Gastric Bye pass treatment which will be really useful for the fat persons. The treatment is done in the following way. A small balloon is inserted into the patient’s stomach and it is filled with some liquid. So the stomach is somewhat full with this floating balloon. Consequently the patient won’t take much food. As a result of this entire process the body weight will reduce by 10 to 15 kilo grams. My friend Mason is taking this treatment and let us wait and see the results after 3 months. He weighs around 115 Kg now. I wish all the best for him.

The Reliance Power Ltd., an Indian company has created history in many ways in the stock market in the whole world. The IPO opened on 15^th Jan 08. In the first 60 sec itself the company got the required funds. It was oversubscribed 72 times. In the retail segment, it was over scribed 17 times. A record number of 500 Qualified Institutional Investors (QII) participated in the issue. A record number of 300 Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) participated. A world record of 52 lacs investors subscribed. It was the biggest issue with a collection of Rs.7.2 lac crores. HDFC bank alone tapped Rs.1.05 lac crore as subscription. It is estimated that the company will earn Rs.3000 crore as savings bank interest for one month if the proceeds are put in a savings bank account. A record number of new investors opened their DP accounts with the depositories. The subscription was roughly half of the country’s total foreign exchange reserve

Biking is my other passion since my childhood. Biking is a nice exercise for both body and mind. It improves one’s concentration to a great extent. I dreamed about doing all the stunts and the actions with this bike. Now I am very happy that I learned some of those nice stunts. I have even participated in some of the bike racing events and has got some prizes too. Whenever I get bored, I used to take my bike and roam with my friends. It will nice to ride a bike in my city. I compare this passion with a child. I like to spend with my child.

Deck is an abbreviation for Double Ended Queue, is a powerful data structure. It is similar to Queue but the difference is that the elements can be added or removed from both the ends. The elements can not be added in the middle. Most of us are not familiar about this type of data structure. That’s why I wanted to share this with you.

There are a lot of methods to hide your files. This is one simple method. Just copy and paste the following code in a notepad file. Move the files that are to be hidden into some folder.

ren FolderName FolderName.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}

and the save this file as lock.bat

Create a new notepad file and copy the following code

ren FolderName.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} FolderName

save this file as key.bat

Now when u click the lock.bat file the folder icon changes to control panel icon. So if u click the folder it redirects to control panel.

Now click the key.bat file to unlock it.

I think this is more efficient than the windows hide option.

2.Disabling the Win Key

I hope this system function will be useful for the gaming freaks. While playing, we used to press the win key unknowingly. Here is a method to disable this windows key. Open the Registry by clicking Start—>Run and then type regedit. Now navigate to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout]
Then look for value of “Scancode Map”. It is a binary data so be careful.

Set its value to “00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 03 00 00 00 00 00 5B E0 00
00 5C E0 00 00 00 00″

You may have to restart the computer. Now the win key will be restored.

We wanted to make this new year a special one. We guys planned a couple of days before for this day. Around 6′o clock in the evening, we all started from our city. Went to the pub that is situated in the outer skirts of my city. Then we started to have fun. After having a little amount of drinks, we started Mexican dancing. It was really nice and it was better than the last year. The guest performance was done by one of the famous models.
